Lola Akinmade Åkerström: Intimacy | The Parlor

Lola Akinmade Åkerström is an award winning travel photographer and journalist. She is represented by National Geographics and has worked all over the world for organisations such as the Red Cross, BBC, CNN, The Guardian, Travel + Leisure, and as a freelancing photographer and visual artist.

We met Lola to talk about the role of the photographer, and the responsibility and openness it takes for a photographer to tell another person's story.
